Diplomová práce se věnuje návrhu polyfunkčního bloku ležícího mezi ulicí Škroupovou, Průmyslovou a Smetanovým nábřežím v Hradci Králové. V současné době je blok fragmentován a nemá jasný charakter. Cílem diplomové práce je najít komplexní urbanistické a architektonické řešení bloku a zároveň využít potenciál nábřeží poblíž řeky Labe. Vytvořit atraktivní městský prostor, který by sloužil jako přirozené těžiště pro setkávání obyvatel a navázal na fungující Královehradecké nábřeží. Návrh se snaží smazat nynější bariéru mezi blokem a řekou a zároveň vytváří dvě odlišné formy objektů. Racionální městský bytový dům navazující na blokovou zástavbu a transparentní objekt. Návrh klade důraz na kvalitu veřejného prostoru a zajištění plynulého pohybu v území. This thesis focuses on the design of a mixed-use block located between Škroupova Street, Průmyslová Street, and Smetanovo Embankment in Hradec Králové. Currently, the block is fragmented and lacks a clear character. The aim of the thesis is to find a comprehensive urban and architectural solution for the block while utilizing the potential of the embankment near the Elbe River. The goal is to create an attractive urban space that would serve as a natural focal point for residents to gather and connect with the existing Hradec Králové Embankment. The design seeks to remove the current barrier between the block and the river while creating two distinct building types: a rational urban apartment building that connects to the existing block development and a transparent structure. The design emphasizes the quality of public space and ensures smooth circulation within the area.
