The thesis is focused on the production process of a coupling tool at the company FERRUM s.r.o. The component provides a connection between the floor grating and the supporting structure. DC01 steel with a thickness of 2 mm was selected as the material, with a production volume of 5,000 pieces per month. After manufacturing, the component undergoes surface treatment in the form of hot-dip galvanizing. Among the considered manufacturing methods, the technology of shearing and bending in a progressive combined tool was selected. The production process consists of four operations, achieving a material usage of 72,5 %. The required forming force was determined to be 152 kN, with a forming work of 218 J. From the company’s machine fleet, the LEN 40 C eccentric press was selected for production.
