Největší rozdíl byl u ryb z kategorie I, kde ryby z lokality A měly v žábrech průměrně 0,037 ± 0,017 mg/kg celkové rtuti, zatímco ryby z lokality B měly 0,021 ± 0,006 mg/kg celkové rtuti v žábrech. K překročení legislativního limitu koncentrace celkové rtuti v tkáni (0,3 mg/kg) došlo jen u největšího jedince z věkové kategorie III.
This bachelor's thesis deals with the accumulation of total mercury in fish tissues in the Morava river basin. Sixteen fish of three age categories were collected from two locations with higher and lower anthropogenic pollution. Two muscle tissues, heart, gills, intestines, kidneys, spleen, liver, skin, and scales were measured. The measurements were performed using an AMA-254 mercury analyzer. The greatest bioaccumulation of total mercury was observed in muscle tissue. Of the analyzed organs, the highest concentrations of total mercury were found in the heart and liver. In the dorsal muscle, fish from age category III had an average of 0.204 ± 0.015 mg/kg total mercury, fish from age category II had 0.076 ± 0.004 mg/kg total mercury, and fish from category I had an average of 0.076 ± 0.006 mg/kg total mercury in the dorsal muscle. The trend was similar in the organs and other tissues. Fish from the less anthropogenically polluted site B generally had lower concentrations of total mercury in their tissues. The most striking difference was observed in fish from category I, where fish from site A had an average of 0.037 ± 0.017 mg/kg total mercury in the gills, while fish from site B had 0.021 ± 0.006 mg/kg total mercury in the gills. The concentration of total mercury in tissue exceeding the legal limit (0.3 mg/kg) occurred only in the largest individual from age category III.
