This bachelor's thesis deals with the economic and energy analysis of corporate electric vehicle operation in the corporate sector in the Czech Republic. The aim is to determine and compare the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) of battery electric vehicles (BEVs) against equivalent internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles. The theoretical part is dedicated to the legislative and tax framework, the impacts of ESG reporting, and the TCO calculation methodology. In the practical part, a model comparison is applied to mid-size vehicles (VW Passat vs. VW ID.7 Tourer) and the SUV segment (Škoda Kodiaq vs. Škoda Enyaq iV 60) across three user charging scenarios. The theoretical calculations are validated by a case study of a school Škoda Enyaq iV 60 vehicle using a cross-analysis of telematics data from 107 charging sessions and actual accounting documents for the year 2025. The results show that while the operation of the electric SUV Škoda Enyaq demonstrates financial savings under both tax regimes (VAT registered and non-registered), the corporate model VW ID.7 Tourer is not financially viable under the company's current pricing conditions due to high depreciation. The conclusion of the thesis offers a proposal to increase fleet efficiency through the integration of a rooftop photovoltaic power plant and vehicle-to-building (V2B) bidirectional energy flow technology.
