Projekt se zabývá adaptací urbanistických a architektonických principů a prvků vycházejících z typologie zkoumaných dělnických nouzových kolonií v Brně. Tyto principy jsou reinterpretovány a aplikovány na současné potřeby modelu komunitního bydlení, čímž vzniká obytný soubor, který prostřednictvím různorodého výběru těchto principů utváří hustší městskou strukturu orientovanou k úrovni ulice. Výběr místa zároveň vychází ze stanovených principů umisťování těchto kolonií. Návrh je situován na souboru parcel v Brně při křížení ulic Husovická a Jana Svobody a je z východní strany vymezen řekou Svitavou. Project explores the adaptation of urban and architectural principles and elements derived from the typology of studied workers’ emergency housing estates in Brno. These principles are reinterpreted and applied to the contemporary needs of a community housing model, creating a housing scheme that, through a diverse selection of these principles, forms a denser urban fabric oriented towards the street level. The choice of site also follows the defined principles of the location of these colonies. The design is situated on a set of parcels in Brno at the intersection of Husovická and Jana Svobody streets, bordered on the eastern side by the Svitava River.
