V prvních kapitolách práce zdůvodňuje nutnost transformace a výchozí podmínky České republiky. Dále práce analyzuje jednotlivé fáze transformace a hodnotí silné a slabé stránky procesu. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována změnám zahraničního obchodu v průběhu transformace. V závěru je uveden souhrn a hodnocení transformace a názor autora na některé sporné kroky. The first chapters of this work give the reasons for necessity of transformation and the starting position of the Czech Republic. Then the work analyses component phases of transformation and judge strengths and weaknesses of the process. Special attention is paid to the changes of international trade during the transformation. In the end there is a summary of transformation and author's personal opinions of some controversial steps of the process.
