Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou dětské práce v rozvojových zemích. Podává obecný obraz o jejím výskytu v jednotlivých regionech, ekonomických odvětvích i o pracovním trhu v zemích, kde je procento pracujících dětí vysoké (podle ekonomů Basu a Tzannatose). Cílem práce je zmapovat trh práce dětí, stanovit ekonomické příčiny a najít možná řešení, která by v boji proti dětské práci byla úspěšná. V práci jsou rozebírány rozdílné postoje jednotlivých rozvojových zemí a zároveň také situace ve vyspělém světě. Na základě analýzy vypracované Mezinárodní organizací práce pak bakalářská práce dokazuje, že odstranit dětskou práci má smysl, a to nejen z hlediska dodržování lidských práv a sociálního, ale i z pohledu ekonomického. Ačkoliv jsou počáteční náklady vysoké, během let se tato investice danému státu určitě vrátí. V závěru jsou navrhnuty možné akce proti dětské práci. Některé by měly podniknout rozvojové země samy a jiné ve spolupráci s mezinárodními organizacemi. This bachelor thesis is dealing with the problem of child labour. It is determining its incidence in world regions and economic sectors and describing a model of labour market where the percentage of working children is high (by the economists Basu and Tzannatos). The aim of the thesis is to map the market of child labour, define economic causes and find out possible solutions which would be effective in combating with this phenomenon. The thesis is analysing diverse attitudes of developing countries, as well as the actual situation in the developed part of the world. On the basis of an analysis by the International Labour Organization, the bachelor thesis is proving that the eliminating of child labour makes sense, not only from the social and human rights' point of view, but also for the economic perspective. Although initial costs are very high, this investment will be definitely repaid to a country in following years. In the conclusion, the thesis is proposing actions which could be taken by developing countries in conjunction with international organizations.
