Cílem této bakalářské práce je analyzovat postavení Plzeňského Prazdroje v cestovním ruchu České republiky a na základě komparace s irským Guinnessem porovnat jeho konkurenceschopnost na zahraničním trhu. Práce je rozdělena do čtyř kapitol. První kapitola představuje pojem gastronomický cestovní ruch a jeho produkty v České republice. Druhá kapitola se zaměřuje na vývoj a současný vývoj pivovarnictví v České republice. Další dvě části se zabývají přímo Plzeňským Prazdrojem. Třetí kapitola analyzuje návštěvnické trasy a produkty cestovního ruchu této společnosti i na základě příslušných statistik. Poslední kapitola znázorňuje komparaci Plzeňského Prazdroje s irským Guinnessem z hlediska cestovního ruchu. The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to analyse a position of the company Plzeňský Prazdroj in tourism of the Czech Republic and on the basis of the comparison with the Irish Guinness Brewery to compare its competitiveness on the foreign market. The work is divided into four chapters. The first chapter represents the conception of gastronomic tourism and its particular products in the Czech Republic. The second chapter is focused on the developement and current position of the brewing industry in the Czech Republic. Next two parts deal with the company Plzeňský Prazdroj. The third chapter analyses tours and products of tourism of this company also on the basis of statistics. The last chapter demostrates the comparison of the company Plzeňský Prazdroj and Irish Guinness in ligh of tourism.
