Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou hospodaření obcí, která je ukázána na konkrétním případě městyse Kácov. Práci lze rozdělit do tří částí. První dvě části jsou spíše teoretické, třetí část je praktická. První část obsahuje legislativní rámec, který se týká hospodaření obcí České republiky. Najdou se zde informace o charakteristice, působnosti, orgánech, hospodaření, občanech a rozpočtu obce a o rozpočtové skladbě. Druhá část se týká účetní reformy v oblasti veřejných financí. Třetí praktická část je seznámením s konkrétním plněním rozpočtu městyse Kácov v letech 2007 - 2009. V této části se analyzují příjmy, výdaje a hodnotí se i plnění rozpočtu v jednotlivých letech. This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of management of municipalities which is shown on a specific case of the small town of Kácov. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first two parts are rather theoretical, the third part is practical. The first part includes the legislative framework which is related to the management of municipalities of the Czech Republic. Information on characteristics, competencies, authorities, management, inhabitants of the municipalities, municipal budgets and a budget composition is to be found there. The second part refers to accounting reforms in the public finances sphere. The third part acquaints with the particular budget implementation of the small town of Kácov in period 2007 - 2009. In this part, revenues and expenditures are analysed and the evaluation of the budget implementation for each year of that period is involved as well.
