Bakalářská práce se zabývá transnacionálními korporacemi, jejich vznikem, upevňováním pozice a především dopadem činnosti na rozvojové země. První kapitola práce je věnována obecnému vymezení globalizace, jejím hlavním aspektům, zejména nadnárodním společnostem. Druhá kapitola přibližuje problematiku rozvojových zemí, jejich historický vývoj, postavení ve světové ekonomice. Dále je rozebíráno působení nadnárodních společností v těchto zemích. Třetí kapitola se věnuje konkrétním příkladům nadnárodních společností v rozvojových zemích- Shell v Nigérii a Union Carbide v Bhopalu, v Indii. This paper deals with transnational corporations, their origin, consolidation of their position and above all with the impact of their activities on developig countries. The first part is devoted to general description of globalization, its main aspects, especially transnational corporations. The second part introduces developing countries, their historical development, position in the world economy. Also the influence of transnational corporations in these countries is described. The third part describes particular examples of these companies in developing countries- Shell in Nigeria and Union Carbide in Bhopal, India.
