V disertační práci nazvané Využití tkaného textu pro hledání rytmu se věnuji myšlenkové vzájemnosti, určité citlivosti, která je nepostradatelnou součástí umění vnímaného jako prostředek celoživotního učení, tedy toho, co dostává smysl ve chvíli splynutí s naším životem a jistým způsobem v něm může zůstat navždycky. Tuto vzájemnost jsem nazvala hledáním rytmu. Pro její odkrývání považuji za důležité významy vzpomínání, zabydlování, snění, svobody, pohybu a změny. Hledání rytmu chápu jako výchozí metaforu pro orientaci v umění/životě. Zajímá mě osobní narace vznikající během těchto procesů a její přesah do obecné roviny, tedy vztah mezi její jedinečností a případnou zaměnitelností. Teoretická část disertace bude psána metodou „tkaného textu“ umožňující volnější přístup k vědecké práci. Tuto metodu psaní pojmenovala Daniela Hodrová. Struktura tkaného textu se vyznačuje opakováním, vzpomínáním, síťovým navazováním, rozvíjením společných motivistických uzlů a prolínáním reality a snění. Snahou práce je vytvořit část vlastní tkaniny a zpětně objevit uzly a spoje, které ji drží pohromadě. Disertační práce se zaměřuje na hledání toho, co v našem životě může zůstat navždycky, pokud o to budeme opravdu stát. Něco těžce pojmenovatelného a uchopitelného, o čem však každý člověk tuší, že to existuje. A zajímá mě, zda to jde najít skrze uměleckou tvorbu. Praktický výstup představují dvě autorské publikace Co zůstane a Deník pohybů světa napsané během doktorského studia a podpořené Projektem specifického uměleckého výzkumu. Teoretická a praktická část tedy tvoří jeden vzájemně se prostupující celek.
In my dissertation Use of woven text for search for rhythm, I focus on looking for thoughts´ reciprocity, some sensitivity, which is an indispensable part of the art perceived as a means of lifelong learning. That means what makes sense at the moment of merging with our life and in some way it can stay in it forever. I called this mutuality the search for rhythm. For the uncovering of this reciprocity, I consider important meanings of remembering, inhabiting, dreaming, freedom, movement and change. The looking for rhythm is understood here as a default metaphor for orientation in art/life. I am interested in the personal narration arising during these processes and its overlap into the general level. It means the relationship between its uniqueness and possible interchangeability. The theoretical part of the dissertation will be written by using the „woven text" method, allowing a freer approach to scientific work. Daniela Hodrová named this writing method. The structure of the woven text is characterized by repetition, remembering, netting tying, the development of common motivic nodes and the interweaving of reality and dreaming. The aim of this work is to create a piece of „my own fabric” and rediscover the knots and joints that hold it together. The dissertation thesis focuses on finding what in our life can stay forever if we really want it. That is difficult to name and capture, but something every person suspects that it exist. And I wonder if it can be found through art. The practical output is represented by two author's publications What will remain and The diary of the movements of the world written during the doctoral studies and supported by the Specific Art Research Project. The theoretical and practical part therefore form one interpenetrating whole.
