Tato disertační práce se zabývá problematikou současné mentální ekologie a hledáním způsobů, jak žít důstojně a plnohodnotně v podmínkách informačního přebytku a environmentální komplexity. Vychází z kritické reflexe pojmů subjektu, prostředí a přednastavenosti a zkoumá, jak se proměňuje vztah jednotlivce ke světu v éře digitálních technologií a kulturní nadprodukce. Autor využívá teoretické zdroje z filosofie, mediálních studií a sociologie (Bateson, Guattari, Deleuze, Bergson, Virno aj.), zároveň však čerpá i z populární kultury a vlastního sebepozorování. Text je členěn do tematických kapitol, které postupně analyzují zkušenost přednastavenosti, fenomén myšlení z nedostatku a přebytku, proměnu subjektivity v prostředí digitálních médií a strategie poddání se či (sebe)tvorby jako odpověď na tlak současného světa. Práce neformuluje univerzální návody, nýbrž hledá podmínky, za nichž je možné tvořivě a kriticky reagovat na zahlcení a nejistotu. Výsledkem je příspěvek do debaty o možnostech (sebe)tvorby, citlivosti a zranitelnosti jako strategií, které mohou nahradit vyčerpané modely disciplinace a „zdravého rozumu“. This dissertation addresses the issue of contemporary mental ecology and explores how to live a dignified and meaningful life under the conditions of informational excess and environmental complexity. It critically reflects on the concepts of subject, environment, and default settings, analyzing how the relationship between individuals and the world is reshaped in the era of digital technologies and cultural overproduction. Drawing on philosophical, sociological, and media-theoretical sources (Bateson, Guattari, Deleuze, Bergson, Virno, among others), as well as popular culture and self-observation, the work is structured into chapters that examine the experience of default settings, the tension between scarcity-oriented and abundance-oriented thinking, the transformation of subjectivity in digital media environments, and the strategies of surrender or (self-)creation as responses to contemporary pressures. Rather than providing universal guidelines, it highlights the conditions under which creative and critical engagement with saturation and uncertainty becomes possible. The dissertation thus contributes to debates on (self-)creation, sensitivity, and vulnerability as strategies that may replace exhausted models of discipline and „common sense.“
