Tato disertační práce se věnuje mineralogicko-ložiskovému výzkumu bývalého dolu Giftkies. Výzkum se soustředil na popis primární Cu-As sulfidické mineralizace, které byla předmětem historického dobývání, dále na popis primární uraninitové mineralizace a jejich vzájemný vztah a strukturně geologickou pozici. Podrobně bylo toto důlní dílo zkoumáno i z pohledu mineralogického, výzkum se v tomto případě soustředil především na sekundární minerály uranu a jejich genezi. U některé vybraných sekundárních minerálů uranu bylo určeno i jejich stáří pomocí vhodných radiometrických metod. Velký důraz byl kladen i na výzkum supergenních procesů a vlivu těchto procesů na současnou podobu důlního díla. Výzkum probíhal pomocí tradičních terénních metod (geologické mapování, makro fotodokumentace, zaměření důlního díla), také pomocí sofistikovaných mineralogických metod jako jsou metody optické a elektronové mikroskopie (SEM) při studiu horninových výbrusů a RTG difrakce (práškové i mikrodifrakce) pro identifikaci jednotlivých minerálů a metod prvkové analýzy (ICP OES, ICP MS) pro studium některých vzorků jeskyních sintrů a vzorků podzemních vod. Pro určení stáří některých minerálů byly využity radiometrické metody, konktrétně metoda alfa spektrometrie v kombinaci s datovacím párem 230Th/234U. Z detailního výzkumu... This dissertation is focused on mineralogical and ore deposit research of the former Giftkies mine. The research focused on description of primary Cu-As sulphide mineralization, which was subject of historical mining, also on description of primary uraninite mineralization and their mutual relationship and structural-geological position. This former mine was also investigated in detail from a mineralogical perspective, the research in this case focused mainly on secondary uranium minerals and their genesis. For some selected secondary uranium minerals, their age was also determined using radiometric methods. Great emphasis was also placed on the research of supergene processes and influence of these processes on present image of the former mine. The research was carried out using traditional field methods (geological mapping, macro photo documentation, surveying of the underground), as well as sophisticated mineralogical methods such as optical and electron microscopy (SEM) methods for studying rock sections and X-ray diffraction (powder and microdiffraction) for identifying individual minerals and elemental analysis methods (ICP OES, ICP MS) for studying some samples of cave sinter and groundwater samples.
