Předkládaná práce si klade za cíl rekonstrukci a interpretaci toho, jak Karl Jaspers a Ladislav Hej- dánek chápou předmětné myšlení, v čem spatřují jeho meze, jaké vůči němu vidí alternativy, a po- souzení toho, nakolik jsou jejich koncepce přesvědčivé. Postup práce sleduje nejprve motivy ve- doucí k pojetí předmětnosti u Jasperse jako omezeného, ovšem nevyhnutelného média každého myšlení vůbec. Jako Jaspersovu vlastní alternativu k předmětně myšlenkovému přístupu práce in- terpretuje jeho pojetí transcendujícího myšlení, rozumu a šifer transcendence. Ve všech případech se přitom jedná o takové myšlenkové přístupy, které sice předmětnost myšlení nemohou překonat, dospívají však k jejím mezím a ve "ztroskotání" na nich dosahují krajního myšlenkového výkonu, který je ve vztahu k nepředmětné skutečnosti možný. V případě Hejdánka práce sleduje nejprve jeho pojetí pojmovosti, z nějž vychází jeho kritika předmětného myšlení, které podle něj představuje mylnou sugesci ontologicky předmětné povahy skutečnosti tam, kde skutečnost předmětem, který bychom mohli mít adekvátně před sebou, není. Při rozboru Hejdánkových úvah o možném ne- předmětném myšlení pak výklad dospívá k jeho představě metodicky skloubeného zacházení s před- mětnými a nepředmětnými intencemi, v nichž Hejdánek spatřuje perspektivu takového... The present thesis aims to reconstruct and interpret how the topic of objectifying thinking is un- derstood in Karl Jaspers and Ladislav Hejdánek, to identify the limits they attribute to objectifying thinking, to examine the alternatives they propose to it, and to assess the extent to which their respective conceptions are convincing. The thesis first traces the motives that lead Jaspers to con- ceive objectivity as a constrained yet unavoidable medium of all thinking whatsoever. As Jaspers's own alternative to an objectifying approach to thought, his conception of transcending thinking, reason, and the ciphers of transcendence are considered. In each of these cases, the approaches in question cannot overcome the objectifying character of thought; yet they reach its limit and, in their "foundering" upon them, achieve the utmost accomplishment that is possible in relation to non-objectifiable reality. In the case of Hejdánek, the thesis examines his conception of conceptu- ality, from which his critique of objectifying thinking arises. According to Hejdánek, objectifying thinking involves a mistaken suggestion of an ontologically object-like character of reality precisely where reality is not an object that could adequately be set before us.
