Bakalářská práce se zabývá metodami užívanými ke studiu zdrojů potravy předků člověka, zejména studium obrusu chrupu a metody izotopové geochemie. V úvodní části je popsána evoluce předků člověka se zaměřením na zachycení jejich značné diverzity. Navazuje sekce věnovaná lidskému chrupu, jeho morfologii a pojmům užívaným k jeho deskripci. Ústřední části textu představují pasáže věnující se popisu metodologických přístupů a principů, na nichž jsou postaveny. Pro demonstraci těchto přístupů jsou uvedeny příkladové studie z literatury. Jako první je uvedena kapitola zabývající se obrusovými metodami, následuje kapitola zaměřená na izotopovou geochemii, doplněná o metody studia zastoupení různých prvků ve fosilních kostních a zejména zubních tkáních. V závěru práce je uvedeno shrnutí obecných trendů vývoje potravních zdrojů předků člověka a jsou diskutovány možnosti přínosu jednotlivých výše uvedených metod. Klíčová slova: paleoantropologie, izotopová geochemie, obrus zubů, evoluce potravních strategií The thesis focuses on methods applied in the research of dietary preferences of human ancestors, most notably the microwear analysis and various methods of isotope geochemistry. The introductory part comprises a description of evolutionary history of human ancestors with emphasis on capturing their diversity. The following section serves as a brief summary of the morphology of human teeth and introduces commonly utilized descriptive terminology. The central portion outlines the methodological approaches and their underlying principles. The descriptions are complemented by specific examples from the literature. The microwear analysis is introduced first followed by a chapter on isotope geochemistry. The latter chapter is supplemented by a brief outline of methods analysing content of various elements in bone and especially dental tissues. The thesis is concluded with a summary of general trends of dietary preferences in human ancestors and a discussion of the methods' applicability options.
