Magisterská diplomová práce Groteskno ve fikčníchsvětech Edogawy Ranpa a Edgara Allana Poea je zaměřena na analýzu tří povídek Edogawy Ranpa a tří povídek Edgara Allana Poea uspořádaných do tematických dvojic. Výzkum se soustředí na povahu a fungování groteskna v jejichfikčníchsvětech a na způsoby, jimiž jsou tyto světy v textech konstruovány. Cílem práce je rovněž identifikovat společné rysy a zásadní rozdíly mezi tím, jak autoři ve svých textech s grotesknem pracují. Teoretickým východiskem je především metodologie fikčníchsvětů vycházející z koncepce Lubomíra Doležela, zejména z jeho díla Heterocosmica: Fikce a možné světy. The master's thesis Grotesque in the fictional worlds of Edogawa Rampo and Edgar AllanPoe focuses on ananalysis of three short stories byEdogawa Ranpo and three short stories by Edgar Allan Poe, arranged into thematic pairs. The study examines the nature and function of the grotesque within their fictional worlds and explores the ways in which these worlds are constructedin the texts. The thesis also aims to identify shared features and key differences in how both authors employ the grotesque. The theoretical framework is based primarily on the methodology of fictional worlds as formulated by Lubomír Doležel, especially in his work Heterocosmica: Fiction and Possible Worlds.
