(česky) Práce se zabývá analýzou českých adaptovaných próz. Metodou různočtení srovnává původní české texty z 19. a 20. století s adaptacemi a popisuje jednotlivé metatextové operace a změny v adaptacích. Hlavním cílem práce je popsat a analyzovat konkrétní postupy, které autoři adaptací využívají při tvorbě adaptací s ohledem na různou jazykovou úroveň, neboť v českém prostředí podrobnější metodický návod zatím neexistuje. V teoretické části práce vymezujeme pojem adaptovaná próza a zaměřujeme se na teorii zjednodušování uměleckých textů, její výhody i kritiku. Dále se zabývame významem čtení pro osvojení jazyka, čtenářskými strategiiemi a teorií o minimální velikosti slovníku pro porozumění textu. V praktické části pak představujeme jednotlivé adaptace s ohledem na jejich zaměření (úroveň, didaktický účel, kompozice). Skrze různočtení, které je přílohou této práce, pak analyzujeme veškeré změny, které nastaly v adaptaci oproti originálu. Cílem této analýzy je popis lexikálních, morfologických, syntaktických i věcných změn v textech. Výsledkem práce je ucelený přehled úprav, ze kterého vyplývá, že míra zásahů do textu závisí na předpokládané jazykové úrovni a didaktickém účelu, přičemž i přes nutné zjednodušení autorského stylu zůstávají hlavní myšlenky děl v adaptacích zachovány, ale některé... (in English) The thesis focuses on the analysis of Czech graded readers. Using the method of comparative reading, it compares original Czech texts from the 19th and 20th century with adaptations and describes individual metatextual operations and changes in graded readers. The main objective of the thesis is to describe and analyze specific procedures used by editors in the creation of adaptations with regard to different language levels, as there are currently no detailed methodological guidelines in the Czech environment. In the theoretical part of the thesis, we define the concept of graded readers and focus on the theory of simplifying artistic texts, its advantages and criticism. We also discuss the importance of reading for language acquisition, reading strategies, and the theory of the minimum vocabulary size required for text comprehension. In the practical part, we present individual adaptations with regard to their focus (level, didactic purpose, composition). Through comparative reading, which is attached to this work, we then analyze all the changes that have occurred in the adaptation compared to the original.
