Navrhovaný objekt má tri nadzemné podlažia s plochou strechou a jedno podzemné podlažie. V južnej časti reštaurácia s jedálenským priestorom, krytou terasou a zázemím pre personál s kapacitou maximálne 100 jedál denne, a v severnej časti obchod s potravinami s predajnou plochou do 100 m. Obvodové murivo z keramických tvárnic tvorí výplň skeletu a je zateplené kontaktným zatepľovacím systémom ETICS s expandovaným polystyrénom s prímesou grafitu. Stropy sú monolitické železobetónové a vnútorné priečky sú sadrokartónové. Na základe výsledkov simulácií boli vyhodnotené parametre tepelného komfortu (PPD a PMV), konkrétne percento nespokojných osôb a priemerný stredný teplotný pocit.
The aim of this master's thesis is to design a project documentation at the building permit stage for the construction of a mixed-use building Brno Purkyňova. The thesis is divided into three parts covering the architectural, structural, and building services design. Part A focuses on the architectural and structural design of the building, the assessment of its building physics properties, fire safety, and the creation of the energy performance certificate. The proposed building is a three-storey structure with one underground level and a flat roof. The basement serves as an underground car park and accommodates technical facilities. The upper storeys are set back, creating space for a covered terrace. The ground floor accommodates two separate premises. A restaurant with a dining area, covered terrace, and staff facilities with a maximum capacity of 100 meals per day in the southern part, and a grocery store with a sales area up to 100 m in the northern part. The second and third storeys are designed as independent office spaces. Structurally, the building is designed as a reinforced concrete transverse frame system, braced by beams and load-bearing walls made of ceramic blocks within the staircase core. The foundations consist of cast-in reinforced concrete footings. The external walls are built from ceramic blocks serving as the infill of the frame structure and are insulated using an ETICS facade system with expanded polystyrene containing graphite additive. The floor structures are monolithic reinforced concrete slabs, and internal partitions are made of plasterboard. Part B focuses on the design of the building services systems. The HVAC and cooling systems were designed at the construction documentation level. Every premise is equipped with a separate mechanical ventilation system with heat recovery, while smoke ventilation is provided within the protected escape route type A. The heating and cooling source is an air-to-water heat pump installed on the roof. A separate heat pump located on the roof is used for domestic hot water preparation. The heating and cooling distribution is provided by a water-based system with reversible fan coil units. A dedicated multisplit refrigerant system with two wall-mounted indoor units is designed in the server room. The building also utilizes rainwater, which is collected from the roof and paved surfaces into an accumulation tank located in the southern part of the plot. The collected rainwater is used for watering green areas. Part C focuses on the analysis and comparison of air distribution variants in terms of thermal comfort, using CFD simulations performed in DesignBuilder software. Three air distribution variants were evaluated in the restaurant area for both summer and winter operating conditions. All variants included the same number of fan coil units, differing only in the number and position of swirl diffusers. Based on the simulation results, the thermal comfort was evaluated using the indicators PMV (predicted mean vote) and PPD (predicted percentage of dissatisfied). The variant with the lowest share of dissatisfied occupants was subsequently optimized to meet the relevant standards. According to the results, the dining area was classified as category B, and the selected variant was included in the final design documentation of part B.
