Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou dopravní nehodovosti chodců a cyklistů na území České republiky v období let 2017–2024. Cílem práce je identifikovat hlavní příčiny a faktory ovlivňující vznik a závažnost dopravních nehod těchto zranitelných skupin účastníků silničního provozu, vyhodnotit jejich celospolečenské a ekonomické dopady a navrhnout opatření ke zvýšení bezpečnosti. Práce vychází z analýzy statistických dat o dopravních nehodách, jejich lokalizaci, časovém rozložení, věkové struktuře účastníků a míře závažnosti následků. Součástí práce je rovněž vyčíslení celospolečenských nákladů dopravní nehodovosti a návrh konkrétní stavební úpravy vybraného problematického místa ve městě Brně. Výsledky práce potvrzují význam systematických preventivních opatření, zklidňování dopravy a rozvoje bezpečné infrastruktury pro chodce a cyklisty. This thesis focuses on the analysis of traffic accidents involving pedestrians and cyclists in the Czech Republic during the period 2017–2024. The aim of the thesis is to identify the main causes and factors influencing the occurrence and severity of traffic accidents affecting these vulnerable road users, to evaluate their social and economic impacts, and to propose measures aimed at improving road safety. The thesis is based on a detailed analysis of statistical data concerning traffic accidents, including their location, temporal distribution, age structure of participants, and severity of consequences. An important part of the thesis is the estimation of social costs associated with traffic accidents and the design of a specific engineering solution for a selected hazardous location in the city of Brno. The results confirm the importance of systematic preventive measures, traffic calming, and the development of safe infrastructure for pedestrians and cyclists.
