[cze][eng] Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá onemocněním Diabetes mellitus, jeho léčbou a dopadem na ošetřovatelskou péči. Diabetes mellitus je chronické metabolické onemocnění charakterizované poruchou metabolismu sacharidů, tuků a bílkovin v důsledku absolutního nebo relativního nedostatku inzulinu. Vzhledem k rostoucímu výskytu diabetu v populaci představuje toto onemocnění významnou výzvu nejen pro lékaře, ale i pro ošetřovatelský personál. Zásadní roli v péči o pacienta s diabetem hraje sestra, která je klíčovým článkem při sledování jeho stavu, dodržování léčebného režimu a během edukace. Práce se zaměřuje na specifika ošetřovatelské péče v kontextu moderních léčebných metod a reflektuje potřebu komplexního a individualizovaného přístupu k pacientům s tímto onemocněním. Cílem práce bylo zjistit náročnost poskytování ošetřovatelské péče pacientovi s Diabetem mellitus a zmapovat spokojenost pacientů s diabetem s poskytovanou ošetřovatelskou péčí. Praktická část byla zpracována pomocí kvalitativního výzkumného šetření. První výzkumný soubor tvořilo devět sester pracujících na interním oddělení. Druhý výzkumný soubor tvořilo devět pacientů s diagnózou Diabetes mellitus I. typu, kteří byli hospitalizováni na interním oddělení. Sběr dat byl pořízen technikou polostrukturovaného rozhovoru. Na základě zjištěných výsledků práce lze konstatovat, že ačkoliv je ošetřovatelská péče ze strany sester hodnocena jako kvalitní a empatická, efektivní zvládání diabetu I. typu vyžaduje určité systémové změny. Identifikovali jsme potřebu posílit systematickou edukaci pacientů, zlepšit pracovní podmínky sester a zefektivnit mezioborovou spolupráci. Obecné doporučení pro praxi zdůrazňuje potřebu systematické edukace, prevence komplikací, aktivního zapojení sester, mezioborové spolupráce a širší dostupnosti moderních technologií. Zároveň je nezbytné věnovat pozornost pracovní zátěži personálu pro zachování dlouhodobé kvality péče.This bachelor thesis deals with the disease Diabetes mellitus, its treatment and impact on nursing care. Diabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic disease characterized by impaired carbohydrate, fat and protein metabolism due to absolute or relative insulin deficiency. Given the increasing prevalence of diabetes in the population, this disease poses a significant challenge not only to doctors but also to nursing staff. The nurse plays a crucial role in the care of the diabetic patient, as he or she is a key link in monitoring the patient's condition, adherence to the treatment regimen and during education. The paper focuses on the specifics of nursing care in the context of modern treatment methods and reflects the need for a comprehensive and individualized approach to patients with this disease. The aim of the study was to determine the difficulty of providing nursing care to patients with diabetes mellitus and to map the satisfaction of patients with diabetes with the nursing care provided. The practical part was done by using qualitative research investigation. The first research population consisted of nine nurses working in the internal medicine ward. The second research set consisted of nine patients with a diagnosis of type I diabetes mellitus who were hospitalized in the internal ward. Data collection was done by semi-structured interview technique. Based on the findings of the study, it can be concluded that although nursing care is rated as high quality and empathetic by nurses, effective management of type I. diabetes requires some systemic changes. We identified the need to strengthen systematic patient education, improve working conditions for nurses, and streamline interdisciplinary collaboration. The general practice guideline emphasizes the need for systematic education, prevention of complications, active involvement of nurses, interprofessional collaboration, and wider availability of modern technologies. At the same time, it is essential to pay attention to staff workload to maintain the long-term quality of care.
