Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na analýzu současného demografického vývoje Čínské lidové republiky a jeho dopadů v širším geopolitickém kontextu. Práce zkoumá historické i současné populační trendy včetně politiky jednoho dítěte, stárnutí populace, genderové nerovnosti, poklesu míry plodnosti a rostoucí emigrace. Vedle demografických ukazatelů jsou diskutovány i ekonomické a sociální důsledky těchto trendů - zejména úbytek pracovní síly, tlak na důchodový systém a problémy s neplodností či talentovou mezerou. Důraz je kladen také na mezinárodní srovnání a potenciální politická řešení, která Čína přijímá nebo zvažuje. Práce čerpá z rozsáhlých statistických dat, odborné literatury a zpráv mezinárodních organizací a snaží se nabídnout komplexní pohled na to, jak demografické faktory formují postavení Číny ve světě 21. století. This bachelor's thesis focuses on the analysis of the current demographic development of the People's Republic of China and its implications in a broader geopolitical context. It examines historical and contemporary population trends, including the one-child policy, population ageing, gender imbalance, declining fertility rates, and increasing emigration. Beyond demographic indicators, the thesis discusses the economic and social consequences of these trendsparticularly the shrinking workforce, pressure on the pension system, and issues such as infertility and the talent gap. Emphasis is placed on international comparisons and potential policy solutions that China has implemented or is considering. The thesis draws on extensive statistical data, academic literature, and reports from international organizations to provide a comprehensive perspective on how demographic factors shape China's position in the 21st-century world.
