cze Abstract:
V krosové části mají největší úspěšnost koně s podílem genů 50 % A1/1 a 6,25 % A1/2 (původní české polokrevné kmeny). V parkurové části dosáhli nejnižšího počtu trestných bodů koně s 12,5 % a 25 % podílem genů anglického plnokrevníka.The bachelor's thesis deals with the influence of Thoroughbred genes on the success of horses in eventing competitions in the Czech Republic. Data on horses and results from eventing competitions (penalty points) were obtained from the results database of the Czech Equestrian Federation (ČJF). The statistical significance of the influence of gene proportions on the success of horses in competitions was tested using an F-test, and differences between the groups were subsequently evaluated using a t-test. The highest number of starts (i.e., 216) in the 2020-2024 seasons was recorded for Thoroughbreds. The most common difficulty levels were Z, ZL, and S (2*), with Z and ZL being most frequent for Thoroughbreds, and S (2*) dominating in horses with 6.25 % A1/1 genes. The highest number of eliminations (i.e., 28) was recorded in the group with 6.25 % A1/1 gene proportion. Based on the total number of penalty points, the highest success rate was found in horses with 12.5 % and 25 % Thoroughbred genes, and 6.25 % Anglo-Arabian genes in the pedigree, compared to horses without A1/1 in the ancestry (statistically highly significant). Thoroughbreds are the worst rated in the dressage phase. Possible reasons could be their less expressive gaits, nervousness, and temperamental nature. In the cross-country phase, the highest success was achieved by horses with 50 % A1/1 genes and 6.25 % A1/2 genes (original Czech half-bred breeds). In the show jumping phase, horses with 12.5 % and 25 % Thoroughbred genes had the lowest penalty points.
