Tato práce se zabývá zahraniční mobilitou studentů ústavu germanistiky filozofické fakulty Jihočeské univerzity. V rámci smíšeného výzkumného designu (Mixed-Methods) jsou využity jak kvalitativní rozhovory, tak kvantitativní dotazníkové šetření, tak aby bylo možno analyzovat motivaci, výzvy a dopady zahraničních pobytů na studenty. Výsledky poskytují informace o klíčových faktorech ovlivňujících rozhodování o zahraniční mobilitě, stejně jako o možných překážkách a možnostech zlepšení současných podpůrných opatření. Studie přináší prakticky využitelné poznatky pro optimalizaci podpory studentské mobility a slouží jako orientace pro studenty, kteří uvažují o zahraničním pobytu. This study examines the mobility of students of the Department of German Studies at the Faculty of Arts at the University of South Bohemia. Using a mixed-methods approach, both qualitative interviews and a quantitative survey were conducted to analyse the motivation, challenges, and impacts of studying/working abroad on the students. The results provide insights into the key factors influencing students' decisions on international mobility, as well as potential barriers and opportunities for improving existing support structures. The study offers practical recommendations for optimizing mobility support and serves as a guide for students considering studying abroad.
