Tématem této bakalářské práce budou znaky totalitarismu, které definovala Hannah Arendtová v kontextu vykonstruovaných politických procesů v 50. letech u nás. Cílem práce je jejich přiblížení vzhledem k situaci v tehdejším Československu. V první části se zaměříme na samotnou autorku (Hannah Arendtovou), její dílo, hlavní myšlenky, přínos světové filozofii a politické teorii vůbec. Následovat bude stručná charakteristika výchozí publikace (O původu totalitarismu I-III), zejména z důvodu lepšího nastínění celé problematiky a myšlenek autorky. Dále se budeme věnovat další hlavní části práce, a to totalitnímu režimu, který u nás panoval v 2. pol. 20. stol., konkrétněji identifikací jistých vlastností tohoto systému a jeho smutnou součástí, vykonstruovaných politických procesů z počátků doby komunistické nadvlády, a to jak týkající se domnělých nepřátel režimu, ale i procesů proti vysokým komunistickým funkcionářům. V závěrečné části uvedeme již představené znaky totalitarismu do kontextu vykonstruovaných politických procesů a tím i souvislost s obecnými atributy totalitarismu a rysy konkrétního totalitně smýšlejícího režimu, v tomto případě ranému komunistickému v Československu a jeho charakteristickému prvku, vykonstruovaných procesů. The topic of this bachelor thesis will be the signs of totalitarianism as defined by Hannah Arendt in the context of the show trials that took place in Czechoslovakia in the 1950s. The aim of the thesis is to explore these characteristics in relation to the situation in Czechoslovakia at that time. The first part of the thesis will focus on the author herself (Hannah Arendt), her work, her main ideas, and her contribution to world philosophy and political theory in general. This will be followed by a brief characterization of the source publication (The Origins of Totalitarianism I-III), mainly to better outline the author's overall problem and ideas. The next main part of the thesis will focus on the totalitarian regime that existed in Czechoslovakia in the second half of the 20th century. Specifically, it will identify certain characteristics of this system and its unfortunate component, the show trials that took place at the beginning of the communist era. These trials targeted both alleged enemies of the regime and high-ranking communist officials. In the final part of the thesis, the previously presented characteristics of totalitarianism will be put into the context of the show trials. This will demonstrate the connection between the general attributes of totalitarianism and the features of a specific totalitarian regime, in this case the early communist regime in Czechoslovakia and its characteristic element, the show trials.
