Diplomová práce se zabývá charakteristikou požadavků a specifik, které souvisejí s profesí učitele výchovy k občanství na základní škole. Teoretická část práce se zaměřuje na charakteristiku profese učitele a rozebírá kompetence a role učitele výchovy k občanství. V souvislosti s revizí Rámcového vzdělávacího programu pro základní vzdělávání je pozornost věnována analýze obsahového zaměření vzdělávacího oboru výchova k občanství, včetně klíčových kompetencí a nově formulovaných průřezových témat. Základem praktické části je osobní případová studie, jejíž obsah reflektuje Kompetenční rámec absolventa/absolventky učitelství, který vydalo MŠMT v roce 2023. Je analýzou, jejímž cílem je zhodnotit míru naplnění jednotlivých kompetencí v kontextu osobní pedagogické praxe začínajícího učitele výchovy k občanství. Tato studie je doplněna empirickým šetřením, které bylo realizováno ve vybraných základních školách v okrese Benešov a které se zaměřuje na to, jak hodnotí učitelé výchovy k občanství nejrůznější aspekty jejich profese a předmětu, který vyučují. The diploma thesis deals with the characteristics of the requirements and specifics related to the profession of a teacher of citizenship education in primary school. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the characteristics of the teaching profession and analyzes the competences and roles of a teacher of citizenship education. In connection with the revision of the Framework Educational Programme for Primary Education, attention is paid to the analysis of the content focus of the educational field of citizenship education, including key competences and newly formulated cross-cutting themes. The basis of the practical part is a personal case study, the content of which reflects the Competence Framework of a Graduate Teacher. It is an analysis aimed at assessing the degree of fulfillment of individual competences in the context of the personal teaching practice of a novice citizenship education teacher. This study is supplemented by an empirical survey that was carried out in selected primary schools in the Benešov district and which focuses on how citizenship education teachers evaluate various aspects of their profession and the subject they teach.
