Táto bakalárska práca analyzuje faktory ovplyvňujúce vnútornú migráciu do vybraných krajov Slovenskej republiky, konkrétne do Bratislavského a Košického kraju, v období rokov 2001-2024. Hlavným cieľom je identifikovať a analyzovať tieto faktory a taktiež overiť hypotézu, ktorá hovorí, že vnútorná migrácia obyvateľov SR je najvýraznejšie ovplyvnená mzdovými rozdielmi jednotlivých krajov SR. Teoretická časť sa zameriava na teoretické prístupy k téme migrácii, na vybrané teórie migrácie a taktiež na opísanie migračných procesov na Slovensku. Praktická časť sa venuje kvantitatívnej analýze regionálnych dát pomocou dvoch panelových regresných modelov. Výsledky ukazujú, že mzdový diferenciál medzi krajmi neovplyvňuje migráciu do skúmaných krajov SR. Naopak miera nezamestnanosti a podiel osôb vproduktívnom veku najvýraznejšie ovplyvňujú vnútornú migráciu do Bratislavského kraja a aj do Košického kraja. Počas pandémie COVID-19 došlo zároveň k výraznému poklesu vnútornej migrácie v sledovanom období. Zistenia tejto práce môžu slúžiť ako podklad pre tvorbu efektívnejších regionálnych politík. This bachelor’s thesis analyzes the factors influencing internal migration to selected regions of the Slovak Republic, specifically to the Bratislava Region and the Košice Region, in the period 2001 to 2024. The main objective is to identify and analyze these factors and also to verify the hypothesis stating that internal migration of the inhabitants of the Slovak Republic is most significantly influenced by wage differences between the individual regions of the Slovak Republic. The theoretical part focuses on theoretical approaches to the topic of migration, selected migration theories and also on describing migration processes in Slovakia. The practical part deals with the quantitative analysis of regional data using two panel regression models. The results show that the wage differential between regions does not influence migration to the examined regions of the Slovak Republic. On the contrary, unemployment rate and the share of people of productive age, most significantly influence internal migration to the Bratislava Region and to Košice Region. During the COVID-19 pandemic, there was also a significant decrease in internal migration in the observed period. The findings of this thesis may serve as a basis for the creation of more effective regional policies.
