Tato diplomová práce analyzuje rozdíly v nástrojích, strategiích a výsledcích činnosti agentury CzechInvest ve srovnání s vybranými investičními agenturami visegrádské skupiny a hodnotí, jak tyto rozdíly ovlivňují podobu a dopady investičních projektů v automobilovém a logistickém sektoru. Výzkum vychází z dokumentární analýzy podkladů, výročních zpráv investičních agentur, osmi případových studií a tří expertních rozhovorů. Zjištění ukazují, že český model se opírá o silnou odbornou a regionální podporu, avšak je zatížen pomalejší administrativou a vyšší institucionální nestabilitou. Slovensko a Maďarsko dosahují rychlejších rozhodovacích procesů díky centralizovanému řízení, zatímco Polsko těží ze stabilních ekonomických zón. Tyto rozdíly se významně promítají do charakteru investic. Automobilové projekty více reagují na pobídkový rámec a míru koordinace, zatímco logistické investice jsou citlivé na rychlost povolovacích procesů a kvalitu infrastruktury. Závěr práce zdůrazňuje, že institucionální rámec má zásadní vliv na přínosy investic a jejich regionální dopady. Doporučení směřují k posílení zahraniční přítomnosti agentury CzechInvest, vyšší institucionální stabilitě, rozvoji odborných kapacit a modernizaci datových a analytických nástrojů. This master’s thesis analyzes differences in the tools, strategies, and performance of the CzechInvest agency compared to selected investment promotion agencies in the Visegrad Group, and evaluates how these differences influence the structure and impacts of investment projects in the automotive and logistics sectors. The research is based on document analysis, annual reports of investment agencies, eight case studies, and three expert interviews. The findings show that the Czech model relies on strong technical expertise and regional support, yet it is burdened by slower administrative processes and higher institutional instability. Slovakia and Hungary achieve faster decision-making due to centralized governance, while Poland benefits from stable economic zones. These differences significantly shape the nature of investments. Automotive projects tend to respond more to the incentive framework and the level of institutional coordination, whereas logistics investments are particularly sensitive to the speed of permitting procedures and the quality of infrastructure. The conclusion emphasizes that the institutional framework has a critical influence on the benefits of investment projects and their regional impacts. The recommendations call for strengthening CzechInvest’s foreign presence, improving institutional stability, developing professional capacities, and modernizing data and analytical tools.
