Tato diplomová práce analyzuje ekonomické a provozní dopady moderních bezpečnostních hrozeb na námořní dopravu se zaměřením na narušení globálních dodavatelských řetězců. Cílem práce je kvantifikovat vícenáklady spojené s odklonem námořních tras a vyhodnotit efektivitu strategií řízení rizik. Práce kombinuje teoretický rámec námořní bezpečnosti s kvantitativním nákladovým modelem, který na příkladu krize v Rudém moři (2023–2024) srovnává ekonomickou náročnost trasy přes Suezský průplav a Mys Dobré naděje. Analýza prokazuje přímý vliv bezpečnostních incidentů na růst přepravních sazeb, pojištění i tranzitních časů a identifikuje strukturální posun logistických strategií od modelu Just-in-Time k modelu Just-in-Case. This diploma thesis analyzes the economic and operational impacts of modern security threats on maritime transport, focusing on the disruption of global supply chains. The aim of the thesis is to quantify the additional costs associated with the diversion of shipping routes and to evaluate the effectiveness of risk management strategies. The work combines the theoretical framework of maritime security with a quantitative cost model which, using the example of the Red Sea crisis (2023–2024), compares the economic demands of the route via the Suez Canal versus the Cape of Good Hope. The analysis demonstrates the direct influence of security incidents on the increase in freight rates, insurance premiums, and transit times, and identifies a structural shift in logistics strategies from the Just-in-Time model to the Just-in-Case model.
