Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou současného stavu a rozvojových možností dopravní infrastruktury v okolí města Bzence s cílem přinést informace o aktuální i budoucí situaci a identifikovat aktuální problémy. Teoretická část práce přináší popis města Bzenec a jeho okolí převážně z pohledu dopravní infrastruktury, ale zasazuje jej také do územního a kulturního kontextu. Autor zde uvádí přehled dopravní infrastruktury ve městě a přináší seznam plánovaných projektů včetně aktuálních nedostatků. Praktická část je založena na kombinaci kvantitativních a kvalitativních metod. Byly shromážděny a analyzovány číselné údaje o intenzitě dopravy, nehodovosti a demografickém vývoji ze státních a regionálních zdrojů jako jsou Ředitelství silnic a dálnic nebo Český statistický úřad. Důležitou součástí je analýza relevantních strategických a územních dokumentů a provedení SWOT analýzy, která komplexně hodnotí vnitřní a vnější faktory ovlivňující dopravní situaci. Pro doplnění kontextu a získání vhledu do rozhodovacích procesů byl uskutečněn polostrukturovaný rozhovor s významným regionálním aktérem, bývalým starostou města. Další součástí práce byl rozhovor s aktuálním starostou města Bzence. Klíčovou součástí praktické části je prezentace výsledků sčítání dopravy pomocí vlastních dat a jejich analýza. Zjištění práce poukazují na vyšší zátěž tranzitní dopravy a nedostatečnou kapacitu silniční sítě v okolí dálnice D55. Práce může sloužit vedení města Bzence jako podnět k dalším dopravním opatřením a projektům a také může nezúčastněnému čtenáři přinést přehled o mikroregionu Bzenecko a jeho dopravní situaci. Možná je také implementace poznatků pro obce či města v podobné situaci. This bachelor thesis analyzes the current state and development possibilities of transport infrastructure in the vicinity of the town of Bzenec with the aim of providing information about the current and future situation and identifying current problems. The theoretical part of the thesis provides a description of the town of Bzenec and its surroundings, mainly from the perspective of transport infrastructure, but also places it in a territorial and cultural context. The author provides an overview of the transport infrastructure in the town and lists planned projects, including current shortcomings. The practical part is based on a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods. Numerical data on traffic intensity, accident rates, and demographic trends were collected personally and analyzed from state and regional sources such as the Road and Motorway Directorate and the Czech Statistical Office. An important part is the analysis of relevant strategic and territorial documents and the implementation of a SWOT analysis, which comprehensively assesses the internal and external factors influencing the traffic situation. To supplement the context and gain insight into decision-making processes, a semi-structured interview was conducted with a prominent regional actor, the former mayor of the city. Another part is an interview with a current mayor of Bzenec. A key part of the practical section is the presentation of traffic census results using our own data and their analysis. The findings of the study point to higher transit traffic loads and insufficient road network capacity in the vicinity of the D55 motorway. The study can serve as a stimulus for the Bzenec municipal authorities to implement further transport measures and projects and can also provide uninvolved readers with an overview of the Bzenecko micro-region and its transport situation. There is also a possibility of using knowledge from this case study by other cities solving similar transportation challenges.
