This study examines how femvertising is perceived by women and how this perception is influenced by consumer identity and the category of the advertised product. The work presents quantitative research in the form of a partial replication of the original study by Åkestam et al. (2017). An experimental method was chosen, conducted through an online questionnaire. For the purposes of this research, a sample consisting of 181 female respondents from Generation Z was collected. Data analysis was performed using linear regression analysis with the statistical software Jamovi. The results show that, compared to traditional advertising, femvertising elicits a lower level of defensive reactions to the advertisement and a more positive attitude towards the advertisement. Consumer identity, in terms of self-esteem and social comparison, does not have a significant effect on this relationship, nor was any influence of the product category demonstrated.
