Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na environmentální pilíř udržitelného rozvoje na eventu Prague Coffee Festival. Hlavním cílem této bakalářské práce je zjistit uplatňování prvků a aktivit spadajících do environmentálního pilíře udržitelného rozvoje při pořádání a v průběhu eventu Prague Coffee Festival. Prvním dílčím cílem je zjistit postoj organizátorů festivalu k environmentální udržitelnosti a konkrétní opatření, která v této oblasti realizují. Druhým dílčím cílem je zhodnotit postoj návštěvníků k jednotlivým opatřením implementovaným v rámci festivalu. V prvních třech kapitolách práce je provedena rešerše odborné literatury a internetových zdrojů, jsou vymezeny pojmy udržitelnost, udržitelný rozvoj, udržitelný event včetně jeho klíčových oblastí a výzvy při implementaci ekologických opatření. Na základě rešerše byla zvolena metodika pro další výzkum, zhotoveno dotazníkové šetření, které zkoumalo postoje návštěvníků festivalu k aplikovaným opatřením a vypracovány otázky pro osobní rozhovor s organizačním týmem festivalu. Poslední kapitola práce se zabývá analýzou výsledků dotazníkového šetření a evaluací zjištěných informací. Součástí poslední kapitoly je také návrh doporučení. V závěru práce jsou shrnuty dosažené poznatky a nastíněny možné směry dalšího výzkumu. This bachelor's thesis focuses on the environmental pillar of sustainable development within the context of the Prague Coffee Festival event. The main objective of this thesis is to identify the implementation of elements and activities related to the environmental pillar of sustainable development during the organization and course of the Prague Coffee Festival. The first partial objective is to examine the attitude of the festival organizers towards environmental sustainability and to identify specific measures they implement in this area. The second partial objective is to assess the attitude of festival visitors towards the individual measures implemented as part of the festival. The first three chapters of the thesis present a literature review based on academic sources and online materials, defining the concepts of sustainability, sustainable development, and sustainable event, including its key areas and challenges in implementing environmental measures. Based on the literature review, a research methodology was selected, a questionnaire survey was conducted to examine visitors' attitudes towards the applied measures, and interview questions were prepared for a personal interview with the festival’s organizational team. The final chapter of the thesis deals with the analysis of the questionnaire survey results and the evaluation of the obtained information. This chapter also includes a set of recommendations. The conclusion of the thesis summarizes the key findings and outlines possible directions for further research.
