Diplomová práce hodnotí úsek Svatojakubské cesty z Jíloviště do Příbrami podle kritérií evropské certifikace Leading Quality Trails – Best of Europe. Cílem je zjistit, do jaké míry trasa tato kritéria splňuje, a určit oblasti nutné k dalšímu rozvoji. Výsledky ukazují, že trasa má silný potenciál díky přírodní rozmanitosti a kulturním atraktivitám, ale zaostává zejména v kvalitě značení, odpočinkové infrastruktuře a doprovodných službách pro pěší turisty. Závěrem práce je, že úsek aktuálně nesplňuje všechny požadavky certifikace, avšak cílenými úpravami a podporou místních aktérů má šanci stát se kvalitní dálkovou trasou. The diploma thesis evaluates the section of the St James Way from Jíloviště to Příbram according to the criteria of the European certification Leading Quality Trails - Best of Europe. The aim is to find out to what extent the trail meets these criteria and to identify areas for further development. The results show that the route has strong potential due to its natural diversity and cultural attractions, but lags behind especially in the quality of signage, recreational infrastructure and accompanying services for hikers. The paper concludes that the section does not currently meet all the requirements for certification, but with targeted improvements and the support of local stakeholders, it has a chance to become a quality long-distance route.
