Diplomová práce zkoumá faktory a bariéry ovlivňující rozvoj sociálního podnikání na území hlavního města Prahy a hodnotí míru naplňování rozpoznávacích indikátorů sociálního podniku dle metodiky Ministerstva práce a sociálních věcí. Praktická část vychází z deseti řízených rozhovorů se sociálními podniky a zahrnuje také ověření aktuálnosti Adresáře sociálních podniků, ve kterém jsou identifikovány dílčí nesrovnalosti. Získaná kvalitativní data jsou dále porovnána s výsledky dotazníkových šetření Ministerstva práce a sociálních věcí z let 2019 a 2022, což umožňuje identifikovat jejich vzájemné shody i odlišnosti. Výzkum ukazuje, že zkoumané podniky naplňují rozpoznávací indikátory ve vysoké míře, zejména v oblasti sociálního a místního prospěchu. Nejvýraznější bariéry představují ekonomické a administrativní překážky, nízká předvídatelnost financování a složitost procesů spojených s čerpáním veřejné podpory. Nově přijatá legislativa zaměřená na oblast sociálního podnikání má v současné době pouze omezený praktický dopad. Práce přináší konkrétní poznatky o fungování sociálních podniků na území hlavního města Prahy a zdůrazňuje potřebu stabilnějších, předvídatelnějších a srozumitelnějších podpůrných mechanismů pro rozvoj tohoto sektoru. The thesis examines the factors and barriers influencing the development of social entrepreneurship in the territory of the capital city of Prague and evaluates the extent to which the recognition indicators of a social enterprise are fulfilled according to the methodology of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs. The practical part is based on ten guided interviews with social enterprises and also includes a verification of the current validity of the Directory of Social Enterprises, within which partial inconsistencies are identified. The qualitative data obtained are further compared with the results of the questionnaire surveys conducted by the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs in 2019 and 2022, which makes it possible to identify their mutual consistencies and differences. The research shows that the examined enterprises fulfil the recognition indicators to a high degree, especially in the area of social and local benefit. The most significant barriers are economic and administrative obstacles, low predictability of funding, and the complexity of processes associated with drawing public support. Newly adopted legislation aimed at the field of social entrepreneurship currently has only a limited practical impact. The thesis brings concrete findings about the functioning of social enterprises in the territory of the capital city of Prague and emphasises the need for more stable, more predictable, and more comprehensible support mechanisms for the development of this sector.
