Liberation Day v roce 2025. Na základě teoretického rámce z oblasti politické nejistoty, mezinárodních financí a behaviorálních financí analyzuje vývoj měnových kurzů USD/CZK, EUR/CZK a EUR/USD, akciového indexu PX a výnosů amerických státních dluhopisů. This thesis examines how the US presidential elections and the actions of Donald Trump's administration affect Czech financial markets. It focuses in particular on the 2016–2017 and 2024–2025 election cycles and the introduction of tariffs in 2025. Based on a theoretical framework from the fields of political uncertainty, international finance, and behavioral finance, it analyzes the development of the USD/CZK, EUR/CZK, and EUR/USD exchange rates, the PX stock index, and US government bond yields. Market data and event study methodology are used to evaluate the short-term response of the Czech financial markets to events and supports them with qualitative insights from interviews with experts from the financial sector. The findings show that US political events can increase volatility and affect Czech assets in the short term.
