Tato diplomová práce se soustředí na analýzu vybraných objektivních ukazatelů na kvalitu života (QOL) v Praze a Jihomoravském kraji v letech 2020-2024. Cílem práce je zhodnotit, jak se vyvíjí kvalita života ve vydefinovaném období a identifikovat ukazatele, které tento vývoj nejvíce ovlivňují. Práce vychází z teoretické literární rešerše a analýzy dosavadních přístupů k měření kvality života. V rámci zhodnocení přístupů měření kvality života je v práci vytvořen index kvality života (QOLI) vycházející z 10 klíčových objektivních indikátorů. Hlavní metodou práce je panelová regrese, aplikovaná na vytvořený index kvality života, která slouží k identifikaci vlivů klíčových vybraných ukazatelů na QOLI. Empirická část potvrzuje stabilnější a vedoucí pozici Prahy, zatímco Jihomoravský kraj je shledán náchylnějším na negativní šoky. Výsledky regresního modelu a využití pružností poukazují na regionální disparity a asymetrickou citlivost krajů. Tyto odlišnosti statisticky významných proměnných vybízejí k implementaci cílené regionální politiky. This thesis focuses on the analysis of selected objective indicators of quality of life (QOL) in Prague and the South Moravia Region in the years 2020-2024. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate how quality of life develops over the defined period and to identify the indicators that most influence this development. The thesis is based on a theoretical literature review and an analysis of existing approaches to measuring quality of life. As part of the evaluation of approaches to measuring quality of life, the thesis creates a quality of life index (QOLI) based on 10 key objective indicators. The main method used in the thesis is panel regression, applied to the created index of quality of life, which serves to identify the effects of key selected indicator on the QOLI. The empirical part confirms the more stable and leading position of Prague, while the South Moravian Region is found to be more susceptible to negative shocks. The results of the regression model and the use of elasticities point to regional disparities and asymmetric sensitivity of regions. These differences in statistically significant variables call for the implementation of targeted regional policies.
