Byly studovány vertikální variace ve složení atmosférického aerosolu NR-PM1 a byly zjištěny významné rozdíly, zejména v noci, kdy je atmosférické míchání často omezené. Každá z hlavních studovaných složek NR-PM1 (organické látky, sírany, dusičnany, amoniak) vykazovala odlišné chování, přičemž organické látky vykazovaly největší rozdíly v noci. Vertical variations in the composition of atmospheric aerosol NR-PM1 were studied and significant differences were found especially at night, when atmospheric mixing is often limited. Each major NR-PM1 component studied (Organics, sulphates, nitrates, ammonium) had a different behavior, with organics showing the highest differences at night.
