Předkládaná bakalářská práce se věnuje analýze a zhodnocení geografických olympiád ve světě a v Česku s návazností na Mezinárodní geografickou olympiádu (iGeo). Dílčím cílem je analýza úspěšnosti jednotlivých zemí v iGeo a komparace s koncepcemi národních olympiád. V rámci výzkumné části práce bylo realizováno dotazníkové šetření mezi zástupcemi všech olympiád účastnících se iGeo. Pomocí analýzy odpovědí byly nalezeny odpovědi na čtyři stanovené výzkumné otázky a zároveň byly popsány jednotlivé postoje a koncepce jiných národních olympiád. Abstarct The subject of this bachelor thesis is the analysis and evaluation of geographic Olympiads in the world and in the Czech Republic with reference to the International Geographic Olympiad (iGeo). A sub-objective is to analyse the success of individual countries in iGeo and to compare it with the concepts of national olympiads. A questionnaire survey was conducted among representatives of all Olympiads participating in iGeo. The analysis was used to find answers to four research questions, while describing the different attitudes and concepts of other national Olympiads
