Diplomová práce "Jinakost ženství a jeho docenění v církvi" pojednává o roli žen v rámci církevního prostředí. Reaguje na změnu postavení žen ve světě během posledních staletí a hledá způsoby, kterými by se mohly lépe realizovat. Práce se nejprve skrze biblické texty snaží pochopit ženskou identitu a soustředí se především na Ježíšův přístup. Dále pak pokračuje mapováním daru ženství v církvi skrze životy a názory významných ženských postav, jako jsou Terezie z Avily a Edith Stein. Nahlíží také na českou zkušenost během období totalitního útlaku, především na zkušenosti Felixe Davídka a Josefa Zvěřiny. Práce neopomíjí také poslední kroky papeže Františka, který ženám zpřístupnil služby vycháze- jící z křestního kněžství a zaměřuje se tak na současnou situaci žen v církvi. Navrhuje pak konkrétní řešení pro jejich lepší současné zapojení a docenění, a zamýšlí se i nad dalšími hypotetickými cestami. The dissertation "The Otherness of Womanhood and its Appreciation in the Church" deals with the role of women in the church. It responds to the evolving status of women over the last few centuries and seeks ways in which they might be better realized. The thesis first seeks to understand women's identity through biblical texts and concentrates on Je- sus' approach. It then researches womanhood in the church through the lives and views of significant female figures such as Teresa of Avila and Edith Stein. It also looks at the Czech experience during the period of totalitarian oppression, especially the experiences of Felix Davídek and Josef Zvěřina. The work also looks at the recent steps taken by Pope Francis, who has made ministries based on the baptismal priesthood available to women and focuses on the current situation of women in the Church. The work then proposes concrete solutions for their better contemporary involvement and appreciation, and also reflects other hypothetical paths.
