Disertační práce přináší výsledky výzkumu dosud značně upozaděného a zkresleně interpretovaného tématu české liturgie druhé poloviny 15. století. Vědeckou pozornost poutaly v minulosti pouze obsáhlé, obsahově ucelené rukopisné kodexy nebo rané tisky, které z tohoto období až na výjimky chybí, zatímco samostatné složky rukopisů, marginální přípisy či prameny zaznamenávající vybrané části chorálního repertoáru zůstaly opomenuty. Kromě otázky, zda ve druhé polovině 15. století existoval český liturgický repertoár a jak vypadal, se v předkládané práci zabýváme definicemi českého zpěvu a argumenty, které legitimizovaly zapojování českého jazyka do liturgie. Zajímá nás také vliv materiality a sociálních aspektů knih s tímto repertoárem na utváření podoby českého liturgického zpěvu. Podstatnou otázkou je i fenomén hlasitého a tichého čtení a materiální známky orálního přenosu či performativního provozování textů. Hlavním přínosem práce je zpracování primárních pramenů s českým kostelním zpěvem druhé poloviny 15. století, jejich časové a materiální zařazení a shrnutí jejich obsahu a funkce. Významnou součástí disertace jsou také její přílohy, obsahující vedle seznamu primárních pramenů přehlednou klasifikaci knih s českým liturgickým zpěvem a jejich materiálně- obsahový typů a soupis českojazyčných... This dissertation presents the results of research on a topic that has been largely neglected and misinterpreted: Czech liturgy in the second half of the 15th century. In the past, scientific attention was focused only on comprehensive, complete manuscript codices or early printed works, which, with a few exceptions, are missing from this period. Separate components of manuscripts, marginal notes, and sources recording selected parts of the chant repertory have been neglected. In addition to the question of whether the Czech liturgical repertory existed in the second half of the 15th century and what it looked like, this work deals with definitions of the Czech singing and arguments that legitimized the inclusion of the Czech language in the liturgy. We are also interested in the influence of the materiality and social aspects of books with this repertory on the formation of Czech liturgical singing. Another important issue is the phenomenon of loud and silent reading and the material signs of oral transmission or performative realization of texts.
