Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá mapováním historie korejských protestantských sborů v České republice, se zaměřením na hlavní město Prahu. Úvodní část pojednává o vývoji protestantismu v Koreji, se zvláštním důrazem na korejskou misijní činnost, která vedla ke vzniku korejských sborů i na českém území, zejména po navázání diplomatických vztahů mezi Českou a Korejskou republikou v roce 1990. Pozornost je dále věnována charakteristickým rysům současných korejských protestantských sborů a jejich srovnání s protestantskými sbory v českém kontextu. Stěžejní část práce tvoří případová studie česko-korejského sboru U Jákobova žebříku v Praze 8 - Kobylisích, vycházející z pěti rozhovorů se čtyřmi klíčovými představiteli tohoto mezinárodního společenství. Pro účely výzkumu byla využita metoda orální historie v kombinaci s tradičními kvantitativními přístupy. Výsledky studie ukazují, že vedle péče o korejskou diasporu představuje misijní činnost jeden z hlavních motivů působení korejských křesťanů v České republice. This bachelor thesis deals with the history of Korean Protestant congregations in the Czech Republic, with a focus on the capital city of Prague. The introductory part covers the development of Protestantism in Korea, with special emphasis on Korean missionary activities that led to the establishment of Korean congregations in the Czech Republic, especially after the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Czech Republic and the Republic of Korea in 1990. Attention is also paid to the characteristics of contemporary Korean Protestant congregations and their comparison with Protestant congregations in the Czech context. The central part of the thesis is a case study of the Czech-Korean congregation U Jákobova žebříku in Prague 8 - Kobylisy, based on five interviews with four key representatives of this international community. For the purposes of the research, the oral history method was used in combination with traditional quantitative approaches. The results of the study show that, in addition to caring for the Korean diaspora, missionary activity represents one of the main motives for Korean Christians' activities in the Czech Republic.
