cze Abstract:
Výsledky naznačují mj. nedostatečné začlenění MT/genAI a posteditace do výuky, spojené s nedostatečnou kvalifikací vyučujících, a velice špatnou komunikaci pravidel ohledně používání těchto technologií během studia. The theoretical part covers key concepts, MT and genAI mechanisms, their advantages and disadvantages, ethical issues, and current knowledge about their application in translation practice and education. The research employed questionnaire survey among students and teachers at Czech universities, complemented by a case study at ULPGC and comparative analysis. Findings suggest inadequate integration of MT/genAI and post-editing training, associated with insufficient teacher expertise, and very poor communication regarding technology use policies during studies. The study concludes that a systematic reform involving thoughtful integration of technologies and further teacher training would be advisable to better prepare graduates for today's translation market.
