eng Abstract:
[eng][cze] This thesis explores the role of the darknet as a tool for privacy and anonymity within the expanding landscape of Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT), particularly in authoritarian regimes that utilize digital infrastructure to enforce political control. Due to the advancements and widescale accessibility of OSINT, concerns regarding privacy have intensified and became a significant issue within closed-state systems. Russia is examined as a key case study, illustrating the state's transition from a participant in the global internet to an actor promoting cyber sovereignty through legislative and infrastructural control, especially after the 2011-2012 protests. Drawing on Helen Nissenbaum's theory of contextual integrity, the study identifies the darknet, particularly the Tor Network, as a key means of circumventing state control and preserving anonymity. The 2019 Sovereign Internet Law is examined as a turning point in Russia's digital governance, revealing efforts to centralize control under the disguise of national security, despite continued dependence on foreign technology and the limitations imposed by international sanctions. Tor Metrics data indicates that while state actions have influenced darknet usage, the platform remains widely utilized. Studie dale analyzuje...
