Diplomová práce se zabývá pojetím duše v Platónově filozofii s důrazem na její poznávací, etické a ontologické aspekty. Analyzuje vybrané dialogy (Faidón, Faidros, Symposion, Ústava, Timaios, Sofistés, Menón, Euthyfrón, Alkibiadés I a Obrana Sokrata), v nichž je rozvíjena představa duše jako nesmrtelného a poznání schopného principu. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována motivu péče o duši, ideji dobra, teorii anamnéze a vztahu mezi pravdou a myšlením. The thesis deals with the concept of the soul in Plato's philosophy with emphasis on its cognitive , ethical and ontological aspects. It analyses selected dialoques ( Phaedo, Phaedrus, Symposion, Constitution, Timaeus, Sophistés, Menon, Euthyphro, AlcibiadesI and Defence of Socrates) in which the idea of the soul as an immortal and cognitive principle is developer. Particularattention is paid to the motif of care for the soul, the idea of good, the teory of anamnesis, and the relationship between truth and thought.
