cze Abstract:
The thesis focuses on the role of managerial staff in social services and how these managers themselves perceive the factors influencing the work motivation of their teams. The aim of the research was to explore, through qualitative semi-structured interviews, how managers reflect on the impact of their leadership style, team atmosphere, and working conditions on the motivation of frontline staff. The findings show that managers consider trust within the team, opportunities for professional growth, recognition, and participative leadership as key motivational factors. The thesis discusses these findings in relation to theoretical models of motivation (Maslow, Herzberg, Vroom) and highlights the need for systematic support of managers in their leadership roles. The conclusions may contribute to a better understanding of leadership specifics in social services and serve as a basis for developing an organizational culture that fosters a motivated work environment.
