Tato diplomová práce zkoumá fungování konkrétního klubu seniorů jako aktéra neformalizované sociální práce. Ačkoliv tyto kluby nespadají v České republice pod oficiální rámec sociálních služeb, hrají klíčovou roli v prevenci sociální izolace, posilování společenských vazeb a v podpoře aktivního stárnutí. Výzkum je založen na kvalitativní metodologii s využitím focus group, rozhovorů, pozorování a analýzy dokumentů. V práci se čerpá z dlouhodobé dobrovolnické zkušenosti, která umožnila nahlédnout do každodenního fungování klubu. Práce ukazuje, že klub je dynamickým prostorem, kde se formální struktura prolíná s neformálními vztahy, a kde vedení probíhá prostřednictvím interakcí, spíše než hierarchických pravidel. Významným zjištěním je i napětí, jiný jazyk mezi vizí koordinátorek a očekáváními členů, které ovlivňuje chod organizace. Cílem práce není hodnotit, ale porozumět a interpretovat procesy uvnitř této specifické organizace a nabídnout reflexi, jak může klub seniorů fungovat jako prostor participace, sounáležitosti. Výzkum byl uskutečněn tak, aby byl zkoumanému klubu užitečný. This thesis explores the functioning of a specific senior club as an actor in informal social work. Although such clubs do not fall under the official framework of social services in the Czech Republic, they play a key role in preventing social isolation, strengthening social ties, and supporting active ageing. The research is based on a qualitative methodology, using a focus group, interviews, observation, and document analysis. It draws on long-term volunteer experience, which provided insight into the club's everyday operations. The findings show that the club is a dynamic space where formal structure is interwoven with informal relationships, and where leadership emerges through interactions rather than hierarchical rules. A key observation is the tension caused by different "languages" used by coordinators and members when interpreting the club's mission, which influences how the organization functions. 6 The aim of the work is not to evaluate, but to understand and interpret the internal processes of this specific organization and offer a reflection on how a senior club can function as a space for participation and belonging. The research was carried out with the intention of being practically useful to the club.
