Tato diplomová práce se zabývá tématem rekreačního týmového sportu (volejbal) jako volnočasové aktivity, která utváří příležitost a prostor pro mezigenerační porozumění. Práce je založena na kvalitativním výzkumném designu, který zkoumá vztah k amatérskému volejbalu a porovnává motivace, proč se zástupci generace X a generace Z pravidelně účastní rekreačního kolektivního sportu. Práce se opírá o teoretické koncepty jako je teorie potřeby patřit, sounáležitost, soudržnost nebo teorie sebedeterminace. Cílem této práce je porozumět tomu, jak se utváří a sdílí kultura amatérských volejbalových týmů v každodenní praxi. Zaměřuje se nejen na individuální životní zkušenosti, ale také na sociální dynamiku v týmu nebo na mezigenerační rozdíly, čímž vzniká možnost propojit osobní rovinu prožívání a širší kulturní a generační souvislosti. Výzkum reaguje na stále nepříliš rozšířené empirické výzkumy z oblasti sociologie volného času, který se při současném životním stylu stává stále důležitější součástí každodenního života lidí. Závěry této práce se pokoušejí zaplnit tuto empirickou mezeru a poukázat na proměnu rekreačního týmového sportování mezi generacemi X a Z. This thesis deals with the topic of recreational team sport (volleyball) as a leisure activity that creates an opportunity and space for intergenerational understanding. The work is based on a qualitative research design that examines the relationship to amateur volleyball and compares the motivations why representatives of Generation X and Generation Z regularly participate in recreational team sports. The work is based on theoretical concepts such as the theory of the need to belong, belonging, cohesion or the theory of self-determination. The aim of this work is to understand how the culture of amateur volleyball teams is formed and shared in everyday practice. It focuses not only on individual life experiences, but also on social dynamics in a team or on intergenerational differences, which creates the possibility of connecting the personal level of experience and broader cultural and generational contexts. The research responds to underrepresented empirical research in the field of sociology of leisure, which, given the current lifestyle, is becoming an increasingly important part of peoples everyday lives. The conclusions of this work are intended to fill the empirical gap and point to the transformation of recreational team sports between generations X and Z.
