cze Abstract:
1This thesis deals with the least squares problem involving a sparse matrix extended by a few dense rows. The first part of the thesis describes the least squares problem, its fundamental properties, and basic solution methods. The theoretical foundations of methods for solving systems of equations with a sparse matrix extended by several dense rows are then presented. The approaches based on preconditioned iterative methods, the stretching method, and the Schur complement method are described. In the experimental part, the procedure is verified by applying the preconditioned GMRES method to test matrices. These experiments focus on how the number of iterations changes depending on the number of matrix rows considered dense. The results are presented graphically. 1
