MUDr. Iva Holmerová, PhD. Praha 2025 Abstrakt Disertační práce se zaměřuje na seniory a seniorky s psychiatrickou anamnézou, jejichž duševní obtíže nevznikly primárně v důsledku procesu stárnutí, a zkoumá specifika péče o tuto cílovou skupinu v pobytových zařízeních v České republice. Téma je v domácím kontextu dosud málo zpracované, přestože potřeba podpory této skupiny klientů roste. Cílem práce bylo analyzovat aktuální přístupy k péči v zahraničí, zmapovat specifické potřeby těchto seniorů a reflektovat stav péče v tuzemských zařízeních. Výzkum byl realizován prostřednictvím pěti vzájemně se doplňujících studií: zahraniční přehledové studie, kvalitativního šetření mezi pečujícími, dotazníkového šetření mezi psychoterapeuty, dotazníkového šetření mezi poskytovateli pobytových služeb a přehledového článku o roli psychologa v dlouhodobé péči. Výsledky ukazují, že tito senioři jsou v systému dlouhodobé péče přehlíženi, duševní obtíže často zůstávají nediagnostikovány a psychologická péče není systematicky zajištěna. Prof. MUDr. Iva Holmerová, Ph.D. Prague 2025 Abstract This dissertation focuses on older adults with a psychiatric history whose mental health issues did not primarily arise as a consequence of ageing. It examines the specific aspects of care for this target group in long-term residential facilities in the Czech Republic. Although this topic remains underexplored in the domestic context, the need for targeted support for these clients is steadily increasing. The aim of the study was to analyse current approaches to care abroad, map the specific needs of these seniors, and reflect on the state of care in Czech facilities. The research was conducted through five complementary studies: a scoping review of international literature, a qualitative study with caregiving staff, a survey among psychotherapists, a survey among long-term care providers, and a literature-based analysis of the psychologist's role in residential care.
