Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou přechodu mladých dospělých s mentálním postižením ze školy do zaměstnání, který představuje klíčový milník na cestě k samostatnému a dospělému životu. Cílem práce je porozumět tomu, jak mladí lidé s mentálním postižením toto období vnímají, jaké mají zkušenosti, potřeby a očekávání, s jakými překážkami se během tranzice setkávají a jakou formu podpory považují za přínosnou a efektivní. Teoretická část práce se zaměřuje na specifika mentálního postižení v kontextu dospívání, přechodu do dospělosti a začlenění na trh práce. Zvláštní důraz je kladen na význam podpory v tomto období, především prostřednictvím tranzitních programů a dalších forem podpory poskytované sociálními službami. Empirická část vychází z kvalitativního výzkumu, který byl realizován formou polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s mladými dospělými, kteří se účastnili tranzitního programu. Data byla transkribována a analyzována pomocí metod otevřeného, axiálního a selektivního kódování. Výsledky ukazují, že klíčovou roli v procesu přechodu do dospělosti a zaměstnání hraje podpora rodiny, odborníků a pracovníků služeb, respektování individuálních potřeb a přání jednotlivce a možnost aktivního zapojení do rozhodovacích procesů. This bachelor's thesis explores the issue of transition from school to employment among young adults with intellectual disabilities, a crucial milestone on the path toward independent and adult life. The aim of the thesis is to understand how young people with intellectual disabilities perceive this transitional period, what their experiences, needs, and expectations are, what barriers they encounter, and what forms of support they find beneficial and effective. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the specific characteristics of intellectual disabilities in relation to adolescence, the transition to adulthood, and employment integration. Particular attention is paid to the importance of support during this period, especially through transition programs and other forms of support provided by social services. The empirical part is based on qualitative research carried out through semi-structured interviews with young adults who participated in a transition program. The collected data were transcribed and analyzed using open, axial, and selective coding.
