Tato bakalářská práce zkoumá osobnost, život a dílo dánského spisovatele Hanse Christiana Andersena z perspektivy psychobigrafie v rovině narativní a psychoanalytické. Hlavním teoretickým a interpretačním rámcem je primární (autobiografie, deníky, dopisy), ale i relevantní sekundární literatura. Výzkumným cílem bylo identifikovat klíčová témata a motivy Andersenova života prostřednictvím adekvátní literatury pro podrobnější náhled jeho osobnosti a bližší porozumění jeho pohádkové tvorbě. V teoretické části jsem nejprve nastínila přístup psychobiografie k umělcům a jejich tvorbě dle myšlenek Williama Todda Schultze. Následně jsem v této práci poskytla Andersenovu podrobnou biografii, jakožto východisko pro následující praktickou část ve formě analýzy Andersenovy pohádky Ošklivé káčátko. Zde jsem propojila dřívější teoretická východiska autorova života s vybraným dílem pro podrobnější náhled Andersenovy osobnosti a bližší porozumění jeho pohádkové tvorby. Interpretační rámec analýzy Ošklivého káčátka se také skládá z psychoanalýzy a hlubinné psychologie (zejména analytické psychologie) ve spojení s myšlenkami české odbornice na skandinávskou literaturu a překladatelky z dánštiny a islandštiny, doc. Heleny Březinové, Ph.D. Tento rámec mi poskytl nespočet možných interpretací pohádky a v souvislosti s... This Bachelor's thesis takes a psychobiographical approach to examining the personality, life and work of the Danish writer Hans Christian Andersen, considering both narrative and psychoanalytical perspectives. The main theoretical and interpretative framework comprises primary sources such as autobiographies, diaries and letters, as well as relevant secondary literature. The objective of the research was to identify key themes and motifs of Andersen's life by examining relevant literature, in order to gain a more detailed insight into his personality and a deeper understanding of his fairy tales. In the theoretical section, I first outlined the psychobiographical approach to artists and their work, as set out by William Todd Schultz. In the continuation of this work, I have provided a detailed biography of Andersen, which serves as the foundation for the practical segment in the form of an analysis of his fairy tale 'The Ugly Duckling'. In this section I linked the earlier theoretical starting points of the author's life to the selected work to gain a more detailed insight into Andersen's personality and a deeper understanding of his fairy tale work.
